This is a romantic comedy about a steamboat engineer named Blake who tries to win the hand of the lady aristocrat, Leslie. Five parts: "In the Parlor of the Ponwasset Hotel," "'In the Fayre Forest,'" "A Slight Misunderstanding," "Mrs. Murray's Triumph," "Blake Saving Doubt," and "Mr. Charles Bellingham's Diplomacy.".
