About this Item
Near Fine; see scans and description. New York (but based in Winter Park, FL): Bonnier Corporation, 2016. The February-March, 2016 issue of Outdoor Life magazine - the Future of Hunting issue. Quarto, illustrated perfect-bound wraps, 98 pp. Near Fine - very. Only notable flaw is the presence of a pre-addressed mailing label (address has been blocked out for privacy considerations in the scan, but is present on the actual cover); there is also a small, faint stain on rear cover. Otherwise, flawless. A nice Near Fine. Loose-laid subscription offer is, in fact, still inside, unbesmirched. Outdoor Life has been continuously published since 1898, which certainly makes it one of the most durable serial publications in US history; one presumes the targeted demographic is, therefore, indeed a hearty one. Hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and the necessary locations, skills, techniques and equipment for those are all part of the package, and indeed a healthy respect for nature is, too - the Outdoor Life Conservation Pledge is well-known and has been promoted by the magazine since 1946. Check the scan of the contents page for all that's inside. Besides the Future of Hunting theme, herein are pieces on a Conservation Road Map; Good Invasive Species; The New Fur Trade; Love Song to the Hound; Winter Steelhead Tactics; Top Guns & Loads for Gobblers; Fabarms' Grey Hunter; Predator Calls; Trout; Catfish; Flounder; Bass. More, of course. Nice condition, and a genre collectible. LPR19.
