Scarce first edition hardcover (no jacket). Edgewear, tanning and minor marks on the boards and spine. The spine is a little cocked with bumped ends. The board corners are a little bumped and frayed. Light foxing on the page block and on some pages throughout. Previous owner's name and year (1892) written in fountain pen on the half title page.
