Description:
A very nice copy of the true First edition (1980) of Grant's well known work and part of the 'Typhonian Trilogies', continuing the research of his mentor Aleister Crowley. Grant builds on the notion that consciousness exists outside the restrictions of the physical brain, and in doing so draws on the work of Crowley but also other luminaries such as Blavatsky, Lovecraft and Austin Osman Spare among others. The book is in excellent condition: pages are tanned, most especially around the edges (each copy of this edition we have seen is similar in this way); otherwise no inscriptions, marks, notes or foxing at all. Unlike some copies, all illustrations are present and correctly bound. Binding is tight. Dust jacket is wonderful: Steffi Grant's brilliant illustration retains its full colour range; no markings or any noticeable wear on the wrapper except perhaps a little expected rubbing, otherwise no creases or tears. A wonderful copy of a book rarely seen in this condition. Now protected in clear removable professional book covering. See photos all of which are of the copy for sale, we don't use stock photos.
