This was Maurice Sendak's Caldecott Honor copy, from his private library. With a laid in sheet of paper describing its sale at auction, including lot number. In original, unclipped, jacket. Small scuff on the back where the white underpaper is showing, no tear. Bound in red cloth over boards with gilded lettering on front and spine. Solid and square. The interior is clean, clear, and crisp. No bookplates, signatures, inscriptions or markings. A very fine copy and first Caldecott Honor edition, from the library of the author. Pages: 40 Dimensions:9� x 10� x �.
