Original cloth in price clipped jacket. 413 pp. Jacket designed by Lucina Smith Wakefield. A character study and social criticism involving a young woman of some social standing and her efforts to reconcile her life with hers and others' expectations. GOOD jacket on GOOD+ book. Minor to moderate general fading to the jacket with moderate soiling to the rear panel. Minor scuffing. Extremities with several small chips and tears, especially to the head of the spine. General fading, minor soiling and edgewear to the book. Interior clean and solid.
