Very scarce first edition in the more attractive colonial binding of tan linen lettered and decorated in white. One of just 500 copies. Slight darkening to spine but quite clean and sound. Author Charles Oman's copy, bearing his bookplate to front pastedown.

I have recently moved the majority of my stock (c.20,000 volumes) to a beautiful new book-house in Szeged, Hungary. Most of these have been in storage for a number of years and have never been offered for sale online. My stock is hand-picked and consists principally of literary first editions in English, French, German and Hungarian.
