[Birmingham, AL: Press of Leslie Printing and Publishing Co., 1911]. 1st ed. 136pp. Portrait frontis. Later 3/4 red morocco, raised spine bands, black morocco spine labels, original printed wrappers bound in. Minor wear to wrappers, else very good or better. HOWES R-383. Dornbusch II, 603. Robuck served in Co. A, 29th Mississippi Infantry, Walthall's Brigade. He provides accounts of the battles of Murfreesboro, his first major engagement, and Chickamauga, where he was wounded out of military service. Robuck discusses Reconstruction and race relations in post-war Mississippi and provides a lengthy account of the early history of the Ku Klux Klan.
