About the Authors

Pamela S. Smith is the former director of the Press of the Palace of the Governors in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she designed and printed award-winning limited edition letterpress books for nearly thirty years. She is an adjunct faculty member at the College of Santa Fe, where she teaches classes in the book arts.

Richard Polese began his book career as apprentice with Jack Rittenhouse at the Stagecoach Press in Santa Fe some forty years ago. Today he runs his own private press, Ocean Tree Books, and is the executive director of the New Mexico Book Association.
