HARDBACK - The book is in very good condition, free of any previous owner names or inscriptions. The green boards are clean, as is the gold lettering to the spine. There is light toning to the page block, as well as to the inner pages, due to the quality of the wartime paper stock available. The dust wrapper is in very good or better condition. There are a couple of small closed tears to the spine tip, but no other loss to the wrapper, and with just the lightest of fading to the spine. A very nice example of a fragile dust wrapper, printed to War time economic standards, with the reverse of the wrapper showing, The Second World War by the author Duff Cooper.
