Contemporary tree calf, rebacked in the 19th century, ruled and lettered gilt on spine. Attractive marbled endpapers. 4to. 9.5 x 6.5 inches (24 x 16.5 cms). xii, 159pp. With an engraved map and 31 tissue-guarded plates (all present as called for). Binding somewhat worn but otherwise clean, sound and tight. A little age toning to edges of title-page, a few tissue guards lightly foxed and a few tissue guards slightly damaged. Located in rural Mid-Wales, our book selling activities are based on the fruits of 35 years of enthusiastic collecting. Our stock is interesting and eclectic and ranges from antiquarian titles on a variety of subjects to classics of modern literature in first edition. We also deal in signed editions, association copies, autographs and manuscripts. Our interests extend to printed ephemera and posters (most notably film and theatre posters, of which we carry a stock of around 10,000 items). Collectors will find that we share their enthusiasm for books and that we are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Our business is currently conducted by post only. Our stock is housed "off site" and is consequently not available for viewing. We are, however, very happy to provide further particulars of any item on request. …
