After graduating from RAF Cranwell, Air Commodore Toby Pearson began his life-long attachment to aviation in Malta, was then posted to Lima, Peru, to train pilots, and commanded RAF Kai Tak, Hong Kong, in the 1950s before retiring to a job with Bristol Siddeley Engines.
