A four volume complete set of THE POCKET GARDEN LIBRARY consisting of a book each for Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Uniformly bound size of about 6 by 3 1/2 inches and bound in very thin green leather over thin flexible boards; gilt lettering and decoration on front covers and spines. Books have 230, 251, 195 and 206 pages. Each book with illustrated end papers. Color illustrations of flowers with accompanying text on every page. The complete set is uncommon. Spring, Summer and Autumn are authored by Ellen Eddy Shaw while the Winter book is authored by Montague Free. Leonard Barron is the Editor for all four books. Illustration and text for over 800 flowers. The interiors of the books are in good condition but the books are shaken; Winter book with loss of leather covering to spine and rear; edge wear. A FRAGILE set but quite scarce. GOOD.
