" DP/Early Statehood-era public position papers on issues of the day in the first years of the Jewish state for use in the Jewish press. Baruch Zuckerman, president of the Labor Zionist Organization of America, "was a leading American-Israeli zionist, one of the leading proponents of Yad Vashem, editor of Yiddishe Kempfer, and a leading figure in the Farband and Histadrut campaigns" (Wikipedia, 2016) .
