Rare: My research suggests that this may be one of only 2 surviving copies. [ FEATURES AND DETAILS. ] Author: George Christian Gebauer Publisher: Caspar Fritsch - Leipzig (1759) Size: 7.5" x 9.5" (approx. Royal 8vo) Numbered Pages: 460 Binding: Leather Printed on: Paper Typeface: Fraktur [ CONDITION. ] - From a non-smoking environment. Overall bookseller condition: POOR - The principal issues making this a "POOR" book are exterior: Spine leather is only half there -- you can still partially read the title and author. The front board is there, but totally detached, rubbed, and bowed. The rear board is missing altogether. - As for the interior, it is actually in very nice condition: No signs of abuse or water damage. There are the expected issues, such as some foxing, some dog-eared pages, pages that are "cracking" away from the spine . though I don't see any that are actually falling out of the book. In fact -- though I'll confess I haven't checked every single page -- I don't BELIEVE any are missing. Even the endpapers are still there. And look at those pull-outs!
