(Painting Book) OUR POSTCARD PAINTING BOOK (code no. 6730). New York - London - Paris: Raphael Tuck & Sons Co. Ltd., ca. 1910. First edition. 8vo - 6-1/16" x 8-1/4". Staple bound glazed paper wrappers with a 1-1/2" long split to the tail of the spine but otherwise are extremely bright, clean and fresh. [18] pp. including inside wrappers which have printed "Instructions For Little Artists". The book consists of pages with chromolithographs of everyday objects. Opposite these pages are pages with line drawings of the same objects to be painted by the young artists. These line drawings have perforations around them and postcard markings on the back, e.g. place for stamp, area for address and area to write a note, so these were designed to be painted, then used as postcards. The book remains completely un-colored, un-marked and un-punched. This title being one of the titles in Raphael Tuck's "Father Tuck's 'Little Artists' Series" of books. The condition of the book is NEAR FINE. No copies located in OCLC/WorldCat. RARE.
