Full leather, raised bands and gilt on spine, [28], 545pp., half-title, frontis, portraits, dedication, authors' preface, numerous illustrations, charts, maps, appendix. Portraits of W.C. Brown, President of New York Central Lines-a leader in agricultural progress, Luther Burbank, the world's greatest plant breeder, and James Wilson, Secretary of Agriculture. The potato is one of the most complex foods known to man as it reacts to climactical conditions constantly. Contained within this volume is the most comprehensive information up until the time of publication. Growing conditions and locations have changed somewhat in the intervening time period, and man has learned ways to better protect and adjust to the potato, but little can be added to the history as presented in this book. We accept checks and all major credit cards. Prices are NET to all. PA residents
must add 6% sales tax.
Shipping charges within the continental limits of the U.S. are $9.50 for the
first book and $3.00 per each additional book, if shipped Media Mail. Should you prefer to ship via
either UPS or Priority Mail, mailing prices increase. All over-sized books and all shipments outside the U.S. will be charged actual shipping, insurance, and handling costs. All parcels
shall be shipped insured or with signature required.
All items may be returned within 7 days of receipt with prior notification. We
request any items for return be sent by their original shipping route, be well
packaged and fully insured.
Shipping terms
Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
