Bookplate and signature of N Mundy. This title is not separately listed in Halkett and Laing nor listed on Book Prices Current auction records since they began in 1975 nor in Book Auction Records since 1902 -1975. Although a separate title, it appears to be part of a larger work with which it was printed. It is octavo lettered from Dd to Kk each folding complete. The first page Dd (unlettered) is the title page. From then pages are numbered from 403 to 503. There then follows a 2pp list of "General Titles" with page numbers before those of this book and one after. Then follows, 4pp, "A Table of The Contents of the several Chapters or Partitions in this Book". This also refers to the earlier part of the larger work, not present. Then a 1pp Table of Prayers which lists the prayers in this book but with the wrong page numbers. Lastly a 2pp ad for other books published by E. and R. Pawlet at the Sign of the Bible in Chancery Lane, near Fleet Street. The blank endpapers are quite browned but the text is internally fairly clean. There are red rules around every page. The full leather binding appears to be contemporary. The upper board is detached. There are gilt rules and decorations to the covers and spine which are in good condition for its age.
