Dark green cloth with patches of mottling mostly at joints and along board fore-edges; spine's copper stamped lettering remains bright. Some toning to text block edges; past owner's ink signature at top of front free endpaper; instances of red ink underlining and one margin note occurring on five pages (pgs. xiii, xvii, xviii, xix, and xxxvii) of Georges Davy's lengthy Introduction; no such markings found upon a quick perusal of book's primary eighteen chapters and interior text pages are otherwise quite clean.
