Appleton and Company. 1868, 1st edition, 216 pp, 7.25 x 5 , 8vo, hardcover full cloth. In good condition, with rubbing and wear to exterior, primarily along edges and corners. Light starting and wear to hinges near front and rear. Text block remains in good condition. Bookplate on front pastedown, along with inscriptions. Small section of advertisements at rear. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce 1st edition on house painting. John W.
