Iredell was a British colonial official in North Carolina who became a supporter of American Independence and was a leader in the development of the courts system in the early republic North Carolina. He was among the first Justices appointed by President George Washington to serve on the fledgling U.S. Supreme Court. This volume covers the period 1767-1777. Cloth, 500 pages.
