(Andrew Marvell), A note of The Verse, the complete text (B-Y6), and one rear blank. Lacking the frontpiece. Toning and pale spotting with nicks and small tears to the edges. Occasional creases and dog ear lines to page corners. S4 with loss not affecting the text. Top margins are cut close to the headlines in places. Owner inscription and stamps to the title page. Printed by S. Simmons, London 1678. Paradise Regained, A Poem in IV books to which is added Samson Agoniste comprising license, title, the complete text (B -P3), and omissions (verso P3). Lacking the errata. Bright creamy pages with less toning than Paradise Lost. Occasional marks. Top margins again cut close to the headlines in places.
