Good-. Deaccessioned from a Harvard University library, which overbound the original printed wrappers in a quarter beige cloth, gray pamphlet binder; given to the library by ichthyologist Samuel Garman, who signed his surname on the front wrapper; "with the author[s'] compliments" stamped at top of the front wrapper, with this volume presumably presented to Garman; "[Auth]or's Copy" printed at top left of front wrapper, with the beginning letters regrettably covered by the pamphlet binder's gray cloth tape in the inner margins of the front hinge; the wrappers and leaves have a vertical crease at center throughout; text clean. Paginated 505-509, with two in-text illustrations. Interesting provenance. [br 35].
