Parlour Poetry, Selected and Introduced by Michael R. Turner, Hardcover, First UK Edition (1967). Book in very good condition, in a similar unclipped dust jacket. The book has very slight bumping to the bottom of the spine, and has slight ageing to the page edges. The dust jacket shows minor wear and ageing to the extremities. The book has the name of the previous owner to the inside front page, 'Rosemary Goad'. 'Rosemary Goad' refers to the first female Director of the publishing company, Faber & Faber. (See pictures). The book comprises of a hundred and one improving gems, including Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Frederick Marryat and Edgar Allen Poe. Seller Inventory # 000719
