The vanishingly scarce first edition of this 1903 auction catalogue. Illustrated with four folding colour maps. A catalogue for the 30th July 1903 auction of an 'important and attractive freehold property' near Wellington, Shropshire, making up part of the Orleton Estate. Rebound in cloth with endpapers renewed, and with the bookplate of Thornhill to the front pastedown. With the publisher's original paper wrap bound in. Arranged in twenty-three lots, with farms, arable land, a mill, cottages and gardens all for sale. Rebound in cloth, with endpapers renewed, and with publisher's original wraps bound in. Externally, excellent, with areas of light fading to cloth. Bookplate to front pastedown. Light handling marks to front wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages lightly age toned, with the odd spot and handling mark. Closed tears and small losses to leaf perimeters. Closed tear to folding plate. Former owner's ink notations throughout. Very Good Indeed.
