Spotting to edges of text block. Endpapers foxed. Front pastedown with bookplate of Aymer Maxwell of Monreith (author of Partridges and Partridge Manors, published in 1911, and father of Gavin Maxwell). Scattered spotting to pages. Gutters just starting to crack in a couple of places but binding remains firm.
