1997. First edition. 64pp. José Watanabe (1946-2007) was a Peruvian poet who won a number of literary awards. He published his first book, Album de Familia, in 1971. his second did not appear until 1989, but established him as one of the most important South American poets of his generation. The present book is his first collection in English translation. The book is bound in the original plain white card covers with a thick paper wrapper. The book is in excellent condition with light bumping to the bottom of the spine and the contents are secure and clean with no inscription. The unclipped wrapper is also very good with slight bumping to the bottom of the spine.
