CHRISTOPHER MILNE was the world-famous son of A. A. Milne, the creator of Winnie-the-Pooh. He was also the basis for the character Christopher Robin in the 'Pooh' stories.

Uncle Hugo's started in 1974 and Uncle Edgar's in 1980 in different store fronts. Both stores moved into a much larger location in 1984. Rioters burned that location to the ground on May 30, 2020, wiping out over $1 million in books. In August, 2022 we reopened a new brick-and-mortar store at 2716 E. 31st St., about 2 miles east of our old location.
