This is a mass market paperback book. Centaur press, with no number and no price on the book cover. The book is in Very Good condition and was issued without a dust jacket. The spine ends and corners of the book covers have some beginning rubbing and wear. The rear cover of the book has several small spots of rubbing. The text pages are clean but have some lightish generalized toning. "Arthur Olney Friel (31 May 1885 27 January 1959) was one of the most popular writers for the adventure pulps. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Friel, a 1909 Yale University graduate, had been South American editor for the Associated Press which led him into his subject matter. In 1922, he became a real-life explorer when he took a six-month trip down Venezuela's Orinoco River and its tributary, the Ventuari River. His travel account was published in 1924 as The River of Seven Stars." (from Wikipedia).
