A very scarce children's propaganda story book from WW1. The Peek-a-boo characters join up and go to war. Colour frontis and eight other plates plus line drawings in text. This is a fair copy only: covers rubbed, base of spine missing, binding shaky in places. Unpaginated but there may be a page missing in Chapter VII. A few pages tanned but the book is generally bright especially the plates. There are no inscriptions but some very small library stamps towards the end of the book. Seller Inventory # 006128
