Griffin Publishing House partnered with Fantasy Publishing Company, Inc. (aka, FPCI). This is a Very Fine first edition copy in brown cloth, and is illustrated by R. K. Murphy in full-page sepia tone drawings. The Near Fine condition dust jacket--an early design by well known comic and SciFi artist Jack Gaughan--has original $2.00 price on front flap. There is minor wear to top and bottom of the jacket spine, as well as a small closed tear at the top edge of the spine. Attractive leaf motif bookplate signed by SciFi author Dean McLaughlin.
