Edmund Ward. UK. 1956. 'Percy The Small Engine' by Rev W Awdry. Small hardback. First edition. This is a sweet little book with a number of issues to note. Titles to front and small illustration of train to cover are gilt. There are a few marks to the boards. Contents: pages are becoming detached from sewn hinge, there are tape marks where book was temporarily 'fixed' to hinge. Some writing to contents. A solid little book, part of Rev W Awdry 'Thomas The Tank Engine' books until a better replacement can be found.
