First edition. Original wraps. Covers rubbed, darkened, and slightly chipped along edges and spine (title still present). Pamphlet publication of an address delivered at Cornell University on January 11th, 1917. In the wake of Colorado Coalfield War and the Ludlow Massacre, Rockefeller hired public relations pioneer Ivy Lee along with William Lyons Mackenzie King. The result was one of the first major public relations campaigns, heralding a change in industrial relations which Rockefeller, in this pamphlet, refers to as 'personal relations'.
