London: Seeley, Service & Co. Limited, 1949. First edition, undated [1949]. With 436 drawings and diagrams and 36 black and white pictures chiefly by the Old Masters. Deep mint green cloth, black dustjacket with illustrations mounted on the front panel and spine. The book is in very good condition with light rubbing to the corners and spine ends, good hinges, firm text block, clean pages, no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is priceclipped but is otherwise very good with no chips or tears. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
