Lanyon was one of the most important artists to emerge in post-war Britain. He was based in St. Ives, Cornwall area. Chris Stephens, curator at the Tate Gallery, has spent over a decade studying the group of artists at St. Ives. This is the standard reference on Peter Lanyon. Illustrated mostly in color, some black & white with 106 reproductions of Peter Lanyon's art works: paintings, sculpture, drawings, collages. 10" high X 8" wide, 192 pages.
