Small 8vo. 99 pp. Index. Designed by Bruce Rogers. Introduction by Harry Miller Lydenberg. Two-color illustrations by 41 printers, artists and designers including Rogers, Peter Beilenson, W.A. Dwiggen, Edwin & Robert Grabhorn, Joseph Blumenthal, Fritz Eichenberg, John Fass, Valenti Angelo, George Salter, Boris Artzybasheff and many more, creating designs for each letter in the alphabet. Following the alphabet, is the "Ampersand Page", with a poem demonstrating the use of the ampersand symbol. Black cloth spine over mustard yellow boards with red lettering & design by Bruce Rogers; gilt lettering to spine. Minor bumping to lower board edges, owner gift inscription, else a fine copy. First Edition, One of perhaps less than 200 copies of the first issue with the ampersand page printed on sandpaper. This was ceased when it was realized how difficult this was.

Overseas orders shipped via USPS Airmail at cost unless other arrangements made. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
