They go on to explain cosmological theories such as the "Big Bang", the expanding universe, and the possibility of life elsewhere.

About the Author

Raman K. Prinja is a lecturer in astronomy/astrophysics at University College London and has written several articles and guides for young astronomers. Richard Ignace is a professional astronomer, currently working at the University of Iowa, having previously been based at the University of Glasgow.
