Macmillan, 1968. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust jacket has moderate shelfwear, several small chips and tears, especially at top of spine and top of rear panel, minor soiling. Cover has very slight shelfwear. Pages are clean, bright and unmarked. Binding is tight. Hinges are perfect. Very nice copy. This book is a widely used introductory text in philosophy. Its aim is not to offer an especially novel or radical position, but rather to present central philosophical problems in a clear, structured way, emphasizing the dialectical interplay of arguments.
