About this Item
The second of Trollope's "Palliser Novels," first published in 1869. This is a Very Good to Near Fine copy of a "New Edition" of Trollope's works. There is no publication date, but per Copac, Quercus accepts 1874. Green decorative cloth binding; floral designs stamped in black; gilt titling on the spine. Clean text; 569 pages, with three pages of publisher's adverts in the rear (interestingly offering Ordnance Survey maps as ".unquestionally the most perfect ever.") Light bumps, with tiny bit of rubbing at the margins of the spine. An attractive Victorian copy, rather uncommon, and quite readable today. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Seller Inventory # 004369
