The first edition of this work, containing an anthology of D. H. Lawrence previously unpublished and unknown essays such as 'Preface toBlack Swans' written for Molly Skinner's novel by never used, and two autobiographical pieces 'On Coming Home' and 'Return to Bestwood,' as well as as short stories and essays, prefaces and introductions to his own works. Collected and edited with an introduction and notes by Warren Roberts and Harry T. Moore.Complete with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear, faint minor damp marking to the extremities of the front and rear board. The dust wrapper is unclipped and very smart, unclipped with minor shelf wear, light chipping to the extremities of the wraps, a touch of age toning to the spine.
