Commercial photo album measuring 7¼" x 9" with a label and two business cards laid down on the cover. [30]ff., containing 120 4" x 6" C-prints, about half are text and half images. A color image of Dhanwantari, God of Ayurveda, is laid down inside the front cover. Text in English and Hindi (approximately 35 images are Hindi text only). A bit of wear and bumping at the corners, near fine with fine photos. A very interesting album promoting the benefits of "Ancient Snake Science," which appears to have a religious element as well. A good deal of information on the history, philosophy, and practice of "Ancient Snake Science" is given in English. In addition to images of text, the album contains photographs of snakes, children handling snakes, and several of Mr. Pai Raiker (also spelled Raikar and Raicar). The album ends with a 16-slide presentation in English titled "Ancient Snake Science & Snake Medicines," given at the 2007 International Conference on Ayurveda and Holistic Healing, as well as a snapshot of him giving the presentation. A fascinating album. We were unable to find more information on either Pai Raiker or Goa Mananaag Snake Therapy.…
