First Edition Thus. This edition was preceded only by an edition of fifty copies lithographed in the surveys office in 1889. xvi, 232 pp, four photographs, and folding plate. Few tiny rub spots along spine edge and a small tear along crease of folding plate, Very Good. An early important book on photogrammetry, the making of maps based on photography. The technique was used to map large areas of western Canada. Deville was Surveyor General of Canada.
