Original mimeographed lecture notes. 4 to. Old Accopress binder. 118, (1), 14 leaves printed on rectos only. A few text diagrams. A very good copy. The 1989 Nobel laureate in physics, N. F. Ramsey, taught at Harvard for 40 years. He developed the method of separated oscillatory fields which applied to the cesium atomic clock improved its accuracy. With Kleppner, Ramsey developed the hydrogen maser. A brief part (2) here is a transcript of the first chapter of Born's 'Atomic physics'.
