First printing. Heavy 8vo. 586 pp. + [5] pp. Index + [1] page ad. Illustrated with 74 B & W figs. and 38 full-page plates, 25 are in color and 7 are fold-out. Original gilt stamped navy blue cloth binding. Deason was Director of the A. T Still Research Institute and formerly Professor of Physiology in the American School of Osteopathy (from the title page). This important, relatively early work of comprehensive osteopathy, is beautifully illustrated and voluminous in scope. The book has light effacing of the spinal gilt, attractive owner's bookplate front paste down else very tight, bright. All plates are present and in bright, fine condition. Near fine overall. Very scarce in the first edition.
