vi+80 pages with graphs, charts, tables, site plans and drawings. Quarto (11" x 8 1/2") bound in original publisher's wrappers. Anthropological Field Studies number 5. First edition. Bayham describes the archaeological investigations for the Tucson Aqueduct alignment that was to bring water to the Picacho Reservoir. The archaic sites that were found around the project and were to be negatively impacted by the construction were investigated by the Arizona State Museum. The authors describe the field methods, the history of the archaeological investigations, and a little bit about the environment. Condition: Previous owner's name on front wrapper, light edge wear, front wrapper creased else very good.
