This first edition 3 volume set remains in great condition with clean covers and bold titling. Volume 1 has a crease present across the front cover. Covers otherwise have straight edges and softly peeling corners. Spines are uncreased with lightly creased edges. Text blocks are straight with some trivial staining. Bindings are firm.
