First edition hardback, 1958, in unclipped jacket. In overall very good condition, dj is tanned and a little edgeworn. Binding tight, no annotations or inscriptions; a little tanning to prelims and page-ends but text and plates clean and clear throughout. Scarce title - fantastic glimpse of history. From a private collection, not ex-library.
