Two volumes complete. First English language edition. Full calf covers rubbed and worn, corners bumped, spine ends chipped, half inch loss at the tops, spine titles good. Front cover of volume 1 nearly detached, holding by one string, other joints weak and aprtially split. Modern bookplate and old owner's name on the first endpaper, and notes inside the rear cover of volume one only, otherwise the interiors are clean, pages toned but only occasional foxing. Scarce.
