Good book green buckram covers with gilt titles and with gilt and lime green decoration to front and slightly duller to spine; paste-on oval picture to front; top and base of a rather creased; tiny repaired hole to spine. Internally good and free of inscriptions; copiously illustrated with tweny-one colour prints [all present] with titled tissue guards plus many b/w plates; binding slightly shaken; occasional thumb mark and the letter 'B' written by some print descriptions; no foxing but a little tanning to a few pages; top edges gilt, others semi-trimmed; 363pp.
