Jarrell acted as the eleventh Consultant in Poetry to the Library of congress, which was later amended to the title of 'Poet Laureate'. Jarrell was awarded a variety of titles and awards over the years, including a Guggenheim Fellowship, a grant from the National Institute of Art and Letters, and the National Book Award for Poetry in 1961.Collated, complete.
